Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about live map activity, City Pulse, Gatherings, City Hub, and privacy.

INJA is live-first and map-first. The main experience helps you see what is happening around you right now, including live sessions, Gatherings, events, news, City Hub, and useful place context.
Start from the map, choose a nearby place, and add what is happening. INJA uses proximity checks so live sessions stay anchored to real locations and reflect activity from people who are actually nearby.
Vibe Outs and Gatherings are location-anchored social plans. You can create something spontaneous, invite friends, require approval, or use a City Pulse route as a draft before publishing anything publicly.
You choose! You can make a Vibe Out "Public" for anyone on the map to join, or "Private" so only people with the link can see it. You can also require approval for new members.
Live sessions and location-based actions use proximity checks. Make sure location services are enabled, refresh the map, and confirm you are close enough to the place. Some actions also require signing in instead of guest browsing.
City Pulse is INJA's AI planning surface. Pick a time, mood, budget, interests, or an event anchor, and City Pulse builds a practical source-backed plan with route stops, timing, backups, and actions such as save, refine, share, or create a Gathering draft.
AI Landmark is optional place context inside the live city experience. When a building, statue, or local detail needs explanation, you can scan it without leaving the live map flow.
City Hub is the practical city utility area inside the News tab. It brings together useful official links, emergency contacts, city services, local officials, reuse markets, and source-backed civic information for your selected city.
Yes. Live sessions can include media such as photos, text updates, and video so nearby people can understand the atmosphere before deciding whether to join.
INJA supports guest browsing for public city surfaces such as Map, Discover, Events, News, City Hub, live-session details, and some AI surfaces. Actions like joining, creating, saving, messaging, or generating plans ask you to sign in.
Connect lets you wave at people from local interactions and chat privately when the connection is mutual. You can turn profile previews and Connect controls off in Settings if you prefer more privacy.
Yes! Enable Anonymous Mode in Settings → Privacy. Your posts will show as "Anonymous Vibe" instead of your username. You can also disable profile previews and Connect separately.
INJA includes points, badges, and leaderboards for contributions such as creating, joining, posting, and helping local activity feel useful. Exact rewards can change during early testing as we tune the product.
You're one of our first users. During early testing, some features such as INJA+ subscriptions may not be available yet. Your feedback helps shape the live map, City Pulse, Gatherings, videos, City Hub, and the overall city experience before public launch.
Yes. We take privacy seriously. Your location is used for proximity checks and core local features, and it is never sold. INJA is built around GDPR access, export, and deletion rights. Read our full Privacy Policy for more details.
